Batik Fabric

A beautiful new fabric now available is called Batik pronounced "Bah-teek".

Batik has been both an art and a craft for centuries. In Java, Indonesia, batik is part of an ancient tradition, and some of the finest batik cloth in the world is still made there. Batik is an art medium and methodology for creating design, usually on cloth, by applying wax to portions of the material and then dyeing it, then removing the wax. This can be done to make vibrant colors and incredible designs.

The Wonderful part about Batik fabrics, is that no two are the same...So each and every one of our Batik Baby Slings will be Unique!
